Commissions

One particularly high profile recent commission was to produce 16 publicity panels for the Lord of the Rings stage shows, produced by Kevin Wallace Ltd, which were shown in Toronto and London.

William Bennett of Kevin Wallace Ltd said "Thank you for your tremendous work on the commissioned pieces for The Lord of the Rings opening night event. They exceeded our expectations and generated much attention and praise from the guests. I can only marvel at the amount of skill and attention to detail that went into each panel. We have now installed the work in our offices and look forward to enjoying them for many years to come!"

The panels, which hand-painted and embroidered onto unbleached linen fibre paper, featured scenes from the book. The paper, though delicate in appearance, is strong, long lasting and fire proofed and can be used for ‘wallpaper’ or framed artworks. See examples of the artwork below.
